Meet the Artist

Hello!

My name is Lisa Curry and I am a fiber artist in Cincinnati, Ohio. Crochet is my main focus, and I love crafting stuffed animals and dolls, as well as repairing and bringing new life to family heirlooms.

Depending on the project, I also knit and needle felt to get the right look, and enjoy learning new techniques to improve my designs and products.

I first learned to crochet from my grandmother, and have since taught myself more techniques and grown my hobby into a business.

I love to crochet all the time and keep my hands busy, but I didn’t need 50 hats, and was running out of people to gift blankets… so in fall of 2017 I started selling bun hats and taking custom requests - the rest is history!

I still make hats, scarves, and blankets, but I have the most fun with amigurumi - crocheted dolls and animals. I like to make dolls based on popular characters, celebrities, or custom friends and family members, as well as colorful and cuddly stuffed animals. I love to make things that make people happy.
